Stop Running Services Start Running Offers

A rookie mistake most people make in business is selling their service instead of selling their offer.

Services are commodities and can be found a dime a dozen on every platform.

In my opinion people get stuck in this loop because creating offers is hard.

It’s the hardest aspect of business.

If everyone could create banger offers then they wouldn’t be banger offers…

So what do you do?

Well here’s what we do at advancedclient.io for our clients.

  1. We look at all past data: CRM notes, won/lost calls, call recordings and look for trends, why are people signing up or not signing up to your business?

  2. Establish 2-3 trends as theories and build offers out around them:
    Let’s say a trend is ecom brand owners are struggling to get above a 2% CTR on their campaign emails. That’s a tangible pain point. Ok so now do you have evidence that more than one brand is experiencing this? Yes? Now you have a theory that you can build an offer around.

  3. Take your new offers “We guarantee to take your campaign emails from less than 2% CTR to over 5% in 32 days or I’ll give you my grandma” and run it against cold traffic.

  4. Asses: You’ll know quickly if an offer is hitting on cold traffic as you’ll be flooded with positive responses.

  5. The offer doesn’t hit and no one is interested in your grandma: Draw a line through it and test another offer.

  6. Test test test: Keep testing offers until you find a winner. When you do then you can scale.

The best way to quickly test cold offers?

Cold email.
