How to sell complex offers.

Selling complex offers via cold outbound is hard.

And that’s why most people don’t succeed with it.

If you’re a website developer, offering SEO or email marketing it’s very difficult to convince someone who’s never heard of you before to commit to a $10k package…

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try outbound.

It just means you have to address the situation and adapt.

When we bring on clients with complex offers, the first thing we tell them is that we won’t be running their main offer via email.

Instead, we work with them to put together a front-end-offer.

FEO’s are a beautiful little invention that compromises of a smaller component of your main offer.

The idea behind them is that they are easier for a potential client to say yes to & operationally easy / inexpensive for you to execute on.

The beauty of a FEO is that:

  1. You’ll get more positive replies via cold outbound because the friction to say ‘yes’ is lower.

  2. You’ll get a foot in the door with more potential clients.

  3. You’ll have the opportunity to rise up the trust axis with the client pushing them to your main offer.

  4. You’ll be able to vet the client first to see if they are a good fit for what you do (and if they are easy to work with).

We’ve been crushing it this year with FEO’s for ourselves and out clients and will continue to run them.

If you need help with your FEO, reply to this and I’ll send over a training I made on it.
