I got asked this the other day by an Outbounder subscriber:

“Hey Tom what’s the perfect length of a cold email sequence?"

Here’s my response:

One.

You know after email one if your campaign (offer) is working.

If it isn't, more emails aren't going to save you.

If it is, you can add 2 or 3 more to catch stragglers in the sequence.

In the beginning, focus all your energy on that first email.

How can I grab attention?

How can I make my offer seem irresistible?

→ How can I get them to say YES?
