nobody trusts you.

A harsh reality for agency owners in 2024 is that market trust is truly at an all time low.

Bad actors, scammers, hormozi offer havers and more have ran through the market meaning that most prospects you speak to have likely had a bad experience with a business just like yours.

That means it’s your job to raise the bar and gain trust.

Without trust the only thing you’ll have to compete on is price…

And we all know where that leads.

(hint: to the floor)

So how do you increase trust with cold outbound?

  1. Build out a front end offer

A front end offer is a small, cheap and easy to deliver component of your main offer that you can use to get quick sign offs from clients and get your foot in the door.

Once you’re foot is in the door you can leave the sales frame and become a trusted partner, proving your competency, delivering results and slowly leading the prospect to your main offer.

We’ve been using FEO’s for ourselves and our clients now for months and have seen a huge uptick in positive responses.

  1. Demystify yourself

No one wants to buy from a ghost. If a prospect can’t google you and see who you are in a couple of clicks they will not trust you.

You need to be profile maxxing in 2024, growing your Linkedin and X profiles, posting on Youtube and running a newsletter. Your prospects should be given the option to consume unlimited content from you in order to build the para-social relationship they need to in order to trust you.

Start posting.

  1. Competency

Your prospects should have undeniable proof of your competency when they land on any of your profiles and especially your landing page.

Case studies, video interviews, testimonials, trustpilot, clutch…

Every time you get a client win, make content about it and post it somewhere.

Half of your success with cold email is things you do outside of cold email.

So if you’re struggling right now, follow the three steps laid above, apply them and keep trying.
