Over the weekend I was thinking about this.
Cold outbound is the great equaliser of business.
And it's having a positive effect on B2B interactions.
Let me explain:
The barrier to entry for cold outreach dropping every single day.
Meaning more people can set up and send 1000's of cold emails every day.
The problem is... As the playing field levels out the harder it becomes to get results (increased competition).
This is making B2B orgs rethink their entire offer.
It's no longer "hey I've got this product, use it"
It's now "Hey I noticed you have this specific but painful issue, we can solve it quickly and without increasing your workload"
Meaning the consumer get's an overall better experience, more options and less crap agencies.
But it also means that it’s harder for the provider.
